I am just going to forget yesterday. At least the Royals beat up on the Cardinals. That gave us some help. Let's Go Cubs!!! Let's get back on our winning streak today.

WOW!!! Thank heavens for Inter League play and the Detroit Tigers. Those O-birds got to us today, but we get to take on our cross-town rivals tomorrow. Let's hope a road game in our own city won't hurt us. Go Cubs!!
Thanks for the emails and visits to our site. Please keep sending us emails and pictures of Cub Nation to 2008@cubsmagicnumber.com. We know you are out there, and we would like to hear from you about our Cubs love.

Cubs are starting a new home winning streak and the Cardinals have lost. The number drops once again. We are past halfway now in regards to the magic number. It's very early for that to be the case.
Keep it up Cubbies!!!

It's great to see our boys in blue rebound after a tough lost. All I have to say is rain delays in Detroit are no fun for anyone. Go Cubs Go!!! Remember: tomorrow is an afternoon game.

Cubs win!!! Hot bats in the fourth inning make this an exciting day. Dare we say "sweep"?
I'm bringing my broom and dust pan tomorrow.

Cardinals lose again, helping the cause.
Crosstown time. Time for the Cubs to run up the score on the White Sox.

Another disappointment in Tampa. Hopefully Big Z is OK. Game three tonight, avoid the sweep.
Cardinals continue to loose to KC, so the number goes down.

Cubs didn't turn out great last night, but the ninth inning was fun. That squeeze play call was exciting, but unfortunatley didn't win it. It was more fun watching that then seeing a popout or strike out.
St Louis lost to KC. So, we drop the number again. The Cubs are in the drivers seat.

Good start to inter-league play for the Cubs. Today they're off, if you account the HOF game to be a scrimmage.
Anyways, Tampa Bay is in the Cubs sights for the midweek series. Then it's crosstown time. Looking forward to a fun week.

Close game in Canada yesterday. Too bad we dropped it. Oh well. Cardinals got ROCKED in Philly, 20-2. Good for the Cubs. We're down to 91.
This is amazing how fast we're crusing along. 18 games above 500 and still over a half a season to go.

The Cubs almost flawless at home.
Both Cubs Sox Sunday games coming up will be ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Game of the Week. That would be 3 Cubs games on Sunday ESPN in June. I bet that's a record.
