Cubs didn't turn out great last night, but the ninth inning was fun. That squeeze play call was exciting, but unfortunatley didn't win it. It was more fun watching that then seeing a popout or strike out.
St Louis lost to KC. So, we drop the number again. The Cubs are in the drivers seat.

ComEd Offers Chance to Throw First Pitch at Wrigley Field
Environmental contest part of ComEd sponsorship of Smart Home exhibit
CHICAGO (June 18, 2008) –Attention Cubs fans! ComEd is offering a “Home Run” sweepstakes through which the selected winner will throw out the ceremonial opening pitch at a Chicago Cubs home game.
To enter, contestants simply answer five questions on how to conserve energy, save money and help the environment. The five questions can be found at www.msichicago.org/homerun and assistance in answering the questions is located at www.ComEdCARE.com.
The contest is part of the company’s sponsorship of the Smart Home: Green + Wired, Powered by ComEd and Warmed by Peoples Gas exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry,
Entries will be accepted from now until July 30, 2008. The top prize is throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field on August 28, 2008, when the Cubs battle the Philadelphia Phillies and four field box tickets to the game. Second and third place prizes are $2,500 worth of ENERGY STAR appliances and two bicycles, respectively.
To enter the sweepstakes, you must be 18 years of age or older and live in the ComEd service territory. For more information visit www.msichicago.org/homerun.
The Smart Home exhibit, which is open through Jan. 4, 2009, offers tours of a 2,500-square-foot “green” home on the Museum’s grounds and showcases ComEd’s electricity-saving programs for customers and other ways to practice green living. The exhibit also demonstrates the latest offerings in sustainable living and environmentally-friendly technologies and offers visitors simple, practical ways they can incorporate green living into their lifestyle. The Smart Home sponsorship is one way ComEd is educating its customers on the benefits of energy efficiency. Later in June, ComEd will begin offering residential customers the tools to be more energy efficient and to save money. Information on a new program to provide incentives for efficient lighting and other measures will be available on www.ComEd.com within the next few weeks.
