Holy cow! The first place, defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs were the Comeback Cubs once again on Friday night, roaring back from a 5-2 deficit to beat the Reds 6-5 in 11 innings.
Kris Bryant drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly, driving in Albert Almora, who raced home to score on a shallow fly. Javy Baez went 2-for-4 with an RBI, J-Hey hit his first homer of the season, and Kyle Schwarber went 2-for-5 with a run scored.
The Cubs' bullpen continued its recent tear, tossing 5 1/3 innings of one-hit, no-run ball to pick up Jon Lester. All in all, a great team win! That's Cub.
The three-game series continues on Saturday in Cincinnati. Go Cubs go!
