Hey hey! The Cubs got back on track Tuesday night in Denver, downing the Rockies 8-1 in the second half of a day/night doubleheader.
Jeimer Candelario went 1-for-4 with an RBI, BB, and run scored in his 2017 Cubs debut; Kris Bryant homered and knocked in two; John Lackey tossed a quality start (7 IP, 0 ER, 10 K); and the bullpen got a much-needed rest after a tough weekend series against the Yankees.

Joe Maddon demonstrated some creativity with the Chicago lineup, starting KB in right, Candelario at third -- batting cleanup, and Zobrist in left. With J-Hey on the DL, look for some more interesting defensive arrangements over the next week or so.
The North Siders wrap up the series against Colorado on Wednesday and have an off day Thursday before heading to St. Louis for a weekend set against the first-place Cards.
Go Cubs go!
