Hey hey! The Cubs came back to down Arizona 5-4 on Sunday behind eighth inning back-to-back jacks from Schwisdom, 3 RBI from Higgins, a quality start from Miley (6 IP, 3 ER, 3 K), and 3 solid relief innings from Thompson.

The Cubs head to Cincinnati on Monday to kick off a four-game series. 40 games down, 122 to go.

Holy cow! The Cubs beat the Padres 7-5 on Wednesday night in San Diego behind a 2-for-3 night from Contreras, 2 RBI apiece from Rivas & Schwindel, and a two-inning save from Wick.

The win gave the North Siders their first series win since their first of the year, when they took two out of three from the Brewers.

The road trip continues Thursday in Phoenix.  30 games down, 132 to go.
