Holy cow! The first place Cubs shut out the Brewers 5-0 on Sunday behind a quality start from Javy Assad (6 IP, 4 K), two RBI from Nico Hoerner, and a home run from Dansby Swanson.
Swanson also contributed some nice defense and the bullpen added three innings of one-hit ball while striking out five Brewers.
The North Siders continue the homestand with a three-game series with the Padres that starts Monday.
